So my entries for the past week have been really slow I know and so I'll be writing about news like a week after it happens because I'm in the middle of a house move. But I'll be doing my best to get caught up starting Saturday. So hopefully Aki-P will get a grip and not do anything drastic again for another few days.
Anyways!
We all rememberYasai Sisters, the b-side to AKBs Heavy Rotation. Well this year it's back! The new song to promote Kagome's Yasai Ichinichi Kore Ippon vegetable drink is called Yasai Uranai (野菜占い). It's not yet sure if it'll be B-side to the upcoming single flying get but I'm really hoping it will be. The song is really catchy again and I'm ashamed to admit that I like a song about vegetables again *facepalm*.
However the thing I really want to focus on is of course the outfits for this song/promotion. Similarly to last year each girl has their own vegetable as inspiration for their outfit but this year there's been a lot of changes to outfits, with some turning out much better than they were last year, some worse and some just being...absolutely terrible. Personally I much prefer last years outfits, they were much cuter and this year they just look like some crappy half assed cosplay outfit.
The Good:
Maeda Atsuko: Tomato, Matsui Jurina: Carrot, Oshima Yuko: Spinach, Shinoda Mariko: Onion, Itano Tomomi: Aubergine/Eggplant, Kojima Haruna: Broccoli, Minegeshi Minami : Komatsuna, Miyazaki Miho: Jute, Kuramochi Asuka: Parsley, Sashihara Rino: Radish, Ota Aika: Petit vert.
These are the costumes that I think are alright from this years. Acchan's although not as cute and bouncy as last years is still cute. Sasshi's is definately an improvement from that thing she wore last year, she doesn't look like a witch this year and I think the outfit is actually kinda cute. Mocchi, Myao and Lovetan just have adorable outfits and look utterly cute.
The Bad:
Takahashi Minami: Cabbage, Kashiwagi Yuki: Pumpkin, Takajo Aki: Water cress, Kasai Tomomi: Lettuce, Maeda Ami: Napa Cabbage, Matsui Rena: Celery, Komori Mika: Ashitaba, Nito Moeno: Kale, Akimoto Sayaka: Burdock, Mukaida Manatsu: Red shiso, Yamamoto Sayaka: Green peas, Watanabe Miyuki: Yomogi
Some of these are just terrible and worse than they were last year (those that were included last year), with the exception of Sayaka who is on par with last year...they really like to give her ugly outfits don't they? Akicha, Komorin, Miyuki and Rena's outfits would have been a lot cuter if there was more going on, on them and less of the table cloth type material. Also aren't pumpkins traditionally orange?
The Ugly:

Ok. Just what the hell are these!? Like seriously. These outfits literally make me want to vomit. Somebody please fire the designer!! My poor Sae! It's even worse than last years outfit, it's just so hideous!!! But she still looks adorable!
